Because when people talk about this administration, they usually say Donald Trump. Very rarely do they stop and recognize the two people who often work just as long, just as hard — Marco Rubio and Susie Wiles.

Marco Rubio puts in countless hours shaping policy, handling pressure, and turning the administration’s vision into action. Susie Wiles keeps the entire structure together — maintaining discipline, strategy, and stability when the system could easily fall apart.

They don’t run after headlines. They don’t demand praise. They simply keep showing up, day after day and night after night, because responsibility doesn’t stop.

The reality is that much of what America associates with Donald Trump is made possible by Marco and Susie standing strongly beside him. And Trump knows that. Again and again, he has publicly described them as pillars of his administration — not simply out of courtesy, but because he recognizes how important they truly are.

Yet outside those walls, the recognition still seems to flow mainly in one direction.

This is not about taking anything away from Trump. It is about giving credit and respect where it has been deserved for a long time.

Leadership is never the work of one person alone. It continues because teams stand together and carry pressure together.

And if we only celebrate the person standing at the podium while forgetting the pillars supporting everything behind him, we don’t just miss part of the story.

We misunderstand what real leadership truly looks like.
