There’s a reason some people believe that the key to your home can also be used as a symbol of opening doors and leaving negativity behind.
Take your house key and place it on some salt. As you do this, say your prayer from your heart:
“As this key opens my home, let it open doors of favor, peace, opportunities, and good things for me.
Let anything negative leave this home, and let this salt absorb every heaviness and negativity around my space.”
Sit with your intention for a few moments, then remove the key, clean it properly, and use it as you normally would.
It’s a simple traditional practice, but sometimes what matters most is the intention and prayer you put behind it. 
May the key you use to open your home also remind you that new doors can open for you too.
