'One spark is all it takes' - that is the stark warning from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service after a makeshift barbecue sparked a woodland fire

The fire service has shared pictures showing the aftermath of the blaze, which started after someone created a makeshift barbecue in woodland using cut tree branches as fuel.

The fire spread from the barbecue to the dry forest floor, highlighting just how quickly a small fire can become a much bigger problem.

LFRS is now urging people to take extra care when enjoying the outdoors and warning against lighting fires or using makeshift barbecues.
