Born in Perth to a South Sudanese family, the Australian basketball prospect is currently developing at Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence. Despite his enormous frame, scouts have been impressed by his mobility, finishing ability and potential as a rim protector.

Mach has already attracted attention from several major American college basketball programs. LSU has reportedly made him an offer, while Colorado, Santa Clara, Charlotte, South Carolina and Washington State have also been linked with the towering teenager.

He is still developing physically and technically, but his rare combination of height, reach and movement has made him one of the most fascinating young basketball prospects to watch.
