Cherry Bombs:
10 ounces maraschino cherries with stems
¼ cup peppermint schnapps
5 ounces white chocolate melting wafers (from a 10-ounce Ghiradelli package)
Instructions
1. Fireball Cherries: In a small saucepan, combine the maraschino cherries, Fireball cinnamon whiskey, and white chocolate melting wafers. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate is completely melted and the cherries are coated.
2. Remove from heat and stir in the colored sanding sugar sprinkles. Let cool slightly.
3. Cherry Bombs: In a small saucepan, combine the maraschino cherries and peppermint schnapps. Heat over low heat, stirring gently, until the cherries are warmed through and slightly softened.
4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
5. Assembly: Arrange Fireball Cherries and Cherry Bombs on a platter or individual dessert plates.
