Honda is recalling more than 325,000 Odyssey vehicles because of rearview camera visibility concerns, federal regulators announced Wednesday.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall report for certain 2018-2020 Honda Odyssey vehicles because water can enter the rearview camera assembly, causing display issues.
“If the rearview camera image fails to display when the vehicle is in the reverse gear, rearward visibility
is reduced, increasing the risk of a crash or injury,” the NHTSA warned.
Impacted owners will be notified by mail on August 24 and asked to take their vehicle to an authorized dealer to have a replacement rearview camera installed, according to the report.
