In 2011, not long after acquiring his Boeing 757 from Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, Donald Trump released a promotional video tour of the aircraft on his official YouTube channel. The walkthrough was narrated by Amanda Miller, the Trump Organization's Senior Vice President of Marketing, who guided viewers through an interior highlighted by 24-karat gold details throughout the cabin.
The tour began in the aircraft's galley, where neatly arranged glassware, coffee makers, and kitchen equipment resembled a high-end commercial kitchen. It then moved into the first-class cabin, featuring cream-colored leather seating, a comfortable sofa, and a dining table with four chairs—the same area where Trump would later participate in numerous television interviews while flying.
During the video, Miller drew attention to the seatbelts, explaining that the buckles, along with many of the aircraft's metal accents, were finished with genuine 24-karat gold plating. That luxurious feature quickly became one of the most talked-about aspects of the jet and remained closely associated with it for years.
The camera continued into the master bedroom, decorated with elegant gold silk wall coverings, before showcasing the master bathroom, where even the sink featured gold plating. That unique detail became so well known that many later reports about the aircraft mentioned the famous gold sink as one of its defining features.
The video also highlighted the cabin's warm lighting, rich wood paneling, and luxurious atmosphere, creating a space that felt more like an upscale penthouse than a corporate jet flying at 35,000 feet.
Long before Donald Trump's political career began, the tour offered one of the first widely viewed looks inside his private aircraft. It came years before campaign rallies made the gold-lettered Boeing 757 a familiar sight on television across America.
What began as a promotional video for the Trump Organization ultimately helped shape the public image of Trump Force One, with its lavish gold finishes, iconic interior, and unmistakable style becoming symbols recognized around the world.
