When Berru Merve Kul was accepted into Sakarya University's Faculty of Law in Turkey, she was determined to become a lawyer despite being visually impaired. However, the university had no Braille textbooks, audio materials, or accessible resources, making her dream incredibly difficult to achieve. 
Instead of giving up, her mother, Havva Kul, stood by her side every single day. For four years, Havva attended every law class with Berru, taking detailed notes during lectures. Each evening, she read law books, legal codes, and case studies aloud so her daughter could study for exams. Together, they overcame every challenge through patience, determination, and unwavering love. 
In July 2018, Berru graduated with her law degree and earned high academic honors, proving that hard work truly pays off. But the graduation ceremony held an unforgettable surprise. Dean Professor Mahmut Bilen invited Havva onto the stage and presented her with an honorary graduate certificate in recognition of her four years of extraordinary dedication. 
The audience erupted in applause, and photos of the emotional moment quickly spread across social media, inspiring millions around the world. Berru earned her degree through her own determination, while Havva was honored for never letting her daughter face the journey alone.
