When we first moved to France, we genuinely thought white English cheddar was the tippy top of cheese ... 
Fast forward 8 years on, and my goodness, how things have changed! I now have at least 10 French cheeses in my top list that might just cracker (
) that original cheddar list. From creamy Brillat-Savarin to a perfectly pungent epoisses, the artisan cheese world over here is just incredible.
It makes you realize how much amazing food there is to discover when you move abroad.
I almost got put off the first Christmas here....went to a gourmet market...decided to splash out and buy a sliver of random blue.....14 euro!!!! I just walked around in a daze!
