Your landscape employees need to know about the tools, timing, and techniques for successful pruning to improve the appearance and health of trees, shrubs, woody vines, groundcovers, and herbaceous annuals, biennials, and perennials.
Videos are an effective way to train your employees by explaining techniques and showing demonstrations. In this course, workforce training videos and knowledge check questions show entry-level workers the basic tasks of pruning, introducing best practices in preparation for hands-on training by supervisors or trainers in the field.
There are six sections in the course. Each section has a quiz at the end. You will need to achieve a score greater than 80% on the quizzes in order to pass this course and receive a certificate of completion.
This course qualifies for 2.5 Pennsylvania Certified Horticulturist (PCH) continuing education units (CEUs). To obtain this credit, complete the course and earn a certificate of completion. Then submit your certificate of completion when you submit your CEUs to the Pennsylvania Landscape and Nursery Association.
