As part of the operation, female police officers dressed in ordinary jogging clothes and ran through locations that had been identified as areas where women frequently reported unwanted attention and intimidation. The officers blended in with the public while support teams remained nearby.

The campaign was introduced after local research showed that many women who experience h@rassment while running choose not to report it. Police hoped the initiative would help them gather evidence, identify offenders, and encourage more people to come forward.

According to Surrey Police, the operation quickly highlighted the challenges women face. Officers reported experiencing unwanted behavior while running, reinforcing concerns that had been raised by members of the public.

Over the course of the month long campaign, police made 18 arrests connected to offences including h@rassment, @ssault, and theft.

The initiative received significant public attention and sparked conversations about safety in public spaces. Supporters praised the campaign for taking practical steps to understand women's experiences and improve confidence in reporting incidents.
