½ cup (120 ml) clean water (for soaking the rice)
2 tablespoons (about 30 g) pure petroleum jellyOptional:
1 teaspoon honey (extra hydration)
1 vitamin E capsule (antioxidant support)
2–3 drops rose water for a pleasant scent
Step-by-Step Preparation
Step 1: Wash the RiceRinse the rice 2–3 times under cool running water until the water becomes mostly clear. This removes dust and excess surface starch.
Step 2: Soak the RicePlace the washed rice into a bowl.Pour in ½ cup of clean water.Let it soak for 30–60 minutes.During this time, the water becomes rich in rice starch, giving it a silky appearance.
Step 3: Blend the RiceTransfer the soaked rice together with the soaking water into a blender.Blend for 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes very smooth.
Step 4: Cook the MixturePour the blended rice mixture into a small saucepan.Cook over low heat, stirring continuously. After 5–10 minutes, it will gradually thicken into a creamy paste.Avoid boiling vigorously to prevent lumps.
Step 5: Cool CompletelyRemove from the heat.Allow the rice cream to cool to room temperature.Never mix petroleum jelly into a hot mixture.
Step 6: Add the Petroleum JellyAdd 2 tablespoons of petroleum jelly.Mix thoroughly until completely smooth and creamy. If using honey or vitamin E, stir them in at this stage.

Helpful Tips
Always perform a patch test on your inner arm 24 hours before applying to your face.
Avoid applying to irritated, broken, or infected skin.
If your skin is oily or acne-prone, use only a very thin layer because petroleum jelly may feel too heavy for some people.
Wear sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) every morning to help prevent premature skin aging.
Drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet rich in fruits and vegetables to support healthy skin.
Consistency matters more than using large amounts.
Safety NoteThis recipe is intended as a simple moisturizing skincare treatment. It does not erase wrinkles, reverse aging, or produce permanent skin-tightening effects. For persistent skin concerns, consult a qualified dermatologist.
